Andrew Story, an old resident of Louisa county, died in this city Sunday afternoon. He was nearly seventy years of age, and had spent most of his life in this county. He had been making his home for several years with his sister, Mrs. Springteen, at whose home he passed away. The funeral services were held from the Christian church Tuesday forenoon at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. M. E. Reusch, with interment in Wapello cemetery. Deceased was born in Campaign county, Ohio, about the years 1837. He moved to Iowa with his parents when five years of age and located near Long Creek. He had been a faithful member of the Long Creek M. E. church for more than twenty years and leaves a large circle of friends to mourn his death. Of his immediate family there remains an only sister, Elizabeth Springsteen.
