Columbus Junction - Mrs. Caroline Alruth died at the home of her son in this place last week and was buried Thursday afternoon from the U. B. church of Columbus City, Rev. Barnard, pastor of the church, conducting services. She was a native of Pennsylvania an had lived in Iowa forty years. She would have been seventy-two years of age next December. Her son John Alruth, with one daughter, Mrs. Frank Gabriel, survive her. The interment was in Columbus City.
