On last Monday evening at four o'clock occurred the death of Mrs. Frank Abrams at her home in Columbus Junction. The cause of her death was fatty degeneration of the heart with which she had been ailing for over a year. Her death came as a great surprise to her relatives and friends. Although her health has been poor for sometime, she was able to attend to her household duties. She was the only child of Joseph Dotson, an old resident of Columbus Junction. She was born in Louisa county and has many relatives living in the vicinity of Wapello. She was in the thirty-seventh year. Her own mother died many years since, but she was bless with a step-mother who filled a mother's place and they were devotedly attached to each other. Besides this mother she leaves a gather and her husband and other relatives and friends to mourn her sudden demise. She was a woman highly respected in the community. The funeral occurred Tuesday from her late home and was largely attended.
