The home of Mr. and Mrs. S. T. Erwin, of Jefferson township, has been cast into deep mourning by the untimely death of their son Roy, who departed this life about six o'clock Monday evening after a few days illness. The deceased was born in the vicinity where he died Nov. 3, 1883, making him aged 20 years, 5 months and 15 days. He is survived by his parents, four sisters and three brothers. He was a dutiful son and a model young man. His habits were good and his nature jovial and sunny. The funeral was held from the home yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Bentzsinger, interment in Parsons cemetery.
