Faith A. Mosier was born Oct. 1st, 1884 and died at Marshalltown Wednesday, April 13, 1904, aged nineteen years, six months and twelve days, of brain fever. Shortly after the death of her brother, Zane, which occurred February 6th, 1904, Faith went to visit her uncle, Curtis Cleaver, at Marshalltown. In about ten days after her arrival she was taken sick. One month after she was removed to a hospital where everything was done to bring her back to health. She lived three weeks longer and then breathed her last. She had been a member of the M. E. church since childhood.

She leaves a sorrowing father, mother, three brothers and two sisters, two aged grandmothers and other relatives. The funeral was held at the M. E. church at Toolesboro conducted by Rev. B. G. Hankins, of Salem, assisted by Rev. E. A. Bentzinger, Friday, April 15, 1904. Of the immediate family Bonnie was the only one of the children able to attend the funeral. Hallie being sick, Walter and Jennie in Idaho and George came from Idaho Saturday too late to attend.
