Lyttleton Marshall Hunt died at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.V. Hunt, in Wapello, Iowa, at one o'clock p. m., Sunday, July 25, 1897. He was born at Pella, Iowa, September 19, 1874. Coming to Iowa with his parents in early childhood, he continued to reside here until his death. During the greater part of his life Lyttleton was afflicted with a rheumatic affliction which increased with the passing years until about three years ago when, after an acute attack the disease affected his heart leaving him a confined invalid. While of a quiet and retiring disposition yet he was most genial and companionable, winning and retaining the intimate friendship of all the young men with whom he came in contact, and the respect and confidence of both old and young. The funeral occurred from his late home Monday at two o'clock p. m. conducted by Rev. T. S. Pool and the interment was at the Wapello cemetery.
