The funeral of Charles H., youngest son of Samuel and Harriet Jamison was held at the Bethel M. E. Church at 1 a. m. Monday. a large company of friends and neighbors witnessed the sad rites. He was born at he family residence, April 11, 1872. Of all the ills of life his most serious affliction was that he being deprived of the sense of hearing. At an early age he became a pupil in the state school for mutes at Council Bluffs. Here he spent several years successively until the death of his mother which occurred in 1890. In 1893 his health began to fail and showed a gradual decline until released by death, Feb. 6, 1897. He was in the 25th year of his age.
