Page 5Mrs. Isabel Fairchild Kremer wife of Ziba Kremer died February 5, 1897, at the their home six miles northwest of Wapello. She was born in Nanitcoke, Luzerne county, Pennsylvania, June 16, 1825 and was married December 31, 1842. The deceased united with the M. E. church at he age of fifteen and lived a devoted Christian the remainder of her life. Their union was blessed with nine daughters, eight of whom still survive her: Mrs. G. B. Stewart of Wilkesbarre, Penn.; Mrs. E. W. Tatlock and Mrs. C.E. Louder of Salt Lake City, Utah; Mrs. C. P. Woodruff, of Springfield, Mo.; Mrs. J. M. Woodruff of Foster, Iowa; Mrs. M. U. Aden of Iowa City; Mrs. E. O. Woodruff of Foster, Iowa, and Mrs. F. J. Peters of Bard. Besides these she leaves twenty-two grandchildren and four great grand children to mourn her loss.
