Mrs. Geo. S. Nellis died at her home in Cairo last Sunday night from an abscess in her side from which she had been suffering for about a year. She was born in Canada, where she married Mr. Nellis, but had been a resident of this county many years. The funeral occurred on Monday and was largely attended.
