Mrs. Susan Whited, wife of Wm. Whited, of this city, died at the home of her daughter in Morning Sun, last Tuesday P. M. from pneumonia. She had gone to Morning Sun a week before and her sickness was not known to her husband until the day of her death. When he arrived at her bedside her spirit had departed. Mrs. Whited was a sister of Mrs. J. R. Shipman. She was a member of the M. E. church. Her funeral occurs today from the M. E. church at Morning Sun and the services will be conducted by her pastor, Rev. J. C. Willits.
