Mrs. Freeland died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lesnet, in this city yesterday at 1:19 p. m. Grandma Freeland is the 89th year of her age. She had been suffering from an attack of the grip which with her burden of years proved more than she was able to endure. She had long been a resident of this county, was of a noble christian character and died triumphant in the old faith. She leaves surviving her, her widowed daughter, Mrs. Lesnet, W. L. Freeland of this city, I. C. Freeland of Columbus Junction and a son living near Ainsworth. Her remains will be interred tomorrow in the Grandview cemetery.
