Moses T. Waterhouse of Oakville passed into the sleep of death Sunday morning. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Feby 14, 1837 and moved to Iowa in May, 1846. In 1868 he removed to Louisa county. He was married Dec. 30, 1868 to Maud Alice Bell who with 11 children, six sons and five daughters mourn the loss. Mr. Waterhouse was a good citizen and possessed a large circle of friends. His disease was ulcer of the stomach from which he suffered a long time. Funeral services were conducted at the Palo Alto church on Monday by the T. H. Olinger. The remains were laid away to rest in the Creighton cemetery near Oakville.
