Oakville, Jany 20- Father Russell, as he is known here, was one of the pioneer settlers of this country, having located in Huron township in 1835, and lived there until the time of his death. He was the founder of the Palo Alto Sunday school. He was a member of the Presbyterian church at Kossuth. His funeral was largely attended by friends. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Minor of Kossuth. His remains were laid to rest in the Edwards cemetery.
