Lettsville, Dec. 1, 1890 - Wm. H. Hughes died Sunday morning at the age of 86 years. He had been quite feeble of late, and it may be said that he died of old age. He was a native of England and had been living in Lettsville for 10 years. He leaves a wife and 5 children 3 boys and 2 girls all grown except one of the boys. These are children of his second wife, who survives him. He also has several children to his first wife, but they are not in this vicinity. The funeral sermon was preached at the M. E. church by Rev. Levi D. Johnson at 10 o'clock Tuesday and the remains were buried at Columbus Junction were he has a son buried.
