Page 4Samuel W. Mallory of Jefferson township died at 8:30 Monday evening. He was born in Tolesboro, December 4, 1814, was a member of company G. 19th Iowa Infantry during the rebellion, and at the time of his death was a member of the G. A. R. Post at Wapello. He was unmarried. The funeral was held at this home yesterday at 11 o'clock and the remains deposited in the Mallory cemetery.
