Mrs. Nettie (Snyers) Cooper, wife of Rev. Willard Cooper, pastor of the Presbyterian church, passed away in death Monday, January 20th, at 4:30 p. m. She has been an invalid for several years, though her death was sudden. She had been about as usual during the day, and was sitting in her chair only a few moments before her death. At the hour named she indicated in whispers to her husband, that she would like to be moved to the sofa, and he took her in his arms to place her there, but noticing as he did so that she was suddenly worse he placed her on the bed where she peacefully and quietly expired in a few moments. She was conscious to the last.

Her disease was contracted while she and her husband were missionaries at Petebaburnee, Siam, they having remained there nearly a year and a half. She was resigned to depart from her suffering tenement of clay. Mrs. Cooper was born at Pittsfield, Mass., and there, in the old family burying ground, the remains will be deposited. Mr. Cooper took the train, with his dead, Tuesday evening for the old home.
