Letts- The funeral of Mrs. Emma Thompson who died recently in Los Angles, California, was held here Sunday afternoon. Rev. R. L. Patterson conducted the services and burial was beside the body of her husband, Dr. Jared Thompson, who died here several years ago. Alvin Thompson, her son, accompanied the body from California. She is survived by two sons, Alvin and Edward and one daughter, Mrs. George Merrill, of Los Angeles. She was over 80 years of age.
