Wapello, Ia.- Mrs. Gavin Crow passed away Friday afternoon at her home east of Wapello. Altho in poor health for some time, death was very sudden and came as a great shock to her family and friends. Louise Townsend was born in Wapello fifty years ago. She was married to Gavin Crow and their union was blessed with two children, Harold, residing near the home place and Marie, at home. Besides the husband and children she leaves her aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Townsend, both of Wapello; one brother, Bert Townsend, of Portland, Oregon; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Smith, of Henry, Ill., and Mrs. May Matthews, of Oakville. Funeral services were held from the Harrison church, Sunday afternoon at 2:30 conducted by rev. O. E. McBride and interment will be made in the Harrison cemetery.
