Ella May Vaughn, youngest daughter of Mrs. Iva Vaughn, succumbed to diptheria at their home in Wapello Thursday evening at 11:20, after a brief illness. She was born at Newport, Ia., February 25, 1915 and is survived by her mother and two sisters, Mildred of Chicago and Marie at home. Funeral services were held on the lawn of the home Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. O. E. McBride and burial was made in the Wapello cemetery.
