Mrs. Olive (Curtis) Parsons, a pioneer resident of Letts passed away at her home in Letts Monday morning at seven o'clock after a lingering illness of two years with heart trouble and complications. Mrs. Parsons is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Wm Reddick and Mrs. Florence Snyder of Letts and Miss Mildred Parsons, who teachers school at Cortwith Iowa and two sons, L. E. Parsons of Letts and Mahlon, of Muscatine. Two sisters, one brother and six grandchildren also survive. Funeral services were conducted from the M. E. church Wednesday afternoon by Rev. LaMott. Interment was made in the Letts cemetery.
