Conesville- Mrs. Martha Moyer. On Friday night September 28 at about 11:30 occurred the death of Mrs. Martha Moyer at her home one mile south of Conesville. Martha Horton was the daughter of Eliza and Ezra Horton and was born November 25, 1843 at Bedford, Coshocton county, Ohio. When a young girl she came to Conesville and was united in marriage on November 24, 1863 to David Moyer who with five children, Lilburn, Mattie, Minnie, Melvin, and Leona, preceded her in death. She is survived by five sons, Dean, Leonard, Guy and Cleveland at home and Albert of Kansas City, also two granddaughters, and one great grand son, Mrs. Velma Berkgren, of Monument, Kansas and Mrs. Sylvia Doyle and little son, David Walter of Milwaukee, Wis. The funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at the Grace Reformed church conducted by Rev. V. A. Bloomquist pastor of the M. E. church.
