Oakville, Ia., Sept. 15 - Mrs. Ella Swanson, aged 65 years, prominent in the Methodist church work and widely known in the community died last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Gustafson in Mediapolis. Mrs. Swanson had been ill several weeks but two weeks ago her condition became serious and she was removed to the home of her daughter. Three daughters, Mrs. Carl Brown of Washington and Mrs. Ray Zelle and Mrs. Gustafson of Mediapolis and two sons, Oscar and Charles, both of Oakville, survive.
