Mrs. Bert L. Lowe, a esteemed resident of the Letts community, died at her home near Letts, Thursday morning after an illness of several months from paralysis but pneumonia was the cause of her death. Mollie Louise Small was born near Letts September 7, 1890 and was married to Bert L. Lowe, September 30, 1914. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Small, of Letts, her husband and two children, Alice Louise, aged 8 and Gerald Burton, aged 3, also by one sister, Mrs. Alice Shellabarger, of Muscatine and two brothers, Arthur H. of Cheyenne Wells, Colorado and Horatio N. of Letts. The funeral services were held from the home Saturday afternoon at two thirty conducted by Rev. R. L. LeMott, pastor of the Methodist church. Interment was made in the Cedar Bethel cemetery.
