Mrs. Beeson Lambert, a resident of Columbus Junction for the past fifteen years, died at her home on Oak street, Sunday evening at ten o'clock, after a brief illness of less than two weeks. Mary Elizabeth Lambert was born at Northville, New York, October 19, 1839. When a child she moved with her parents to Illinois. Later she moved to Seymour, Iowa. March 10, 1880 she was united in marriage to Beeson Lambert. Fifteen years ago they moved to this city. She enjoyed excellent health this summer and a few weeks ago visited with relatives in Illinois. After her return home she suffered a paralytic stoke. She is survived by her husband, Beeson Lambert, a large number of relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the home at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon conducted by Rev. W. E. Ruston and the body was taken to Toulon, Illinois for interment.
