James F. McGill of Grandview, died at 7 o'clock Saturday evening at the Hershey hospital, He was 72 years old. He was born in 1850 and spent his entire life in Henry county and at Grandview. He is survived by seven children, Mrs. Grant Smith, of Wilton; Mrs. Pearl Vance, of Buffalo; Hiram McGill, of Moscow; Floyd McGill, of Grandview; Fay McGill, of Burlington; Mrs. Edna Harvey, of Muscatine and Donald McGill of Grandview; two step daughters, Mrs. Mark McKillip of Moscow and Mrs. Frank Longstreth of Muscatine; five brothers, John of Muscatine; Charles, of Anoka, Minn; Newton, Deacon and Samuel McGill, of Grandview; a sister, Mrs. Nora McGill, of this city, and two grandchildren. His wife died lat October. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon from the Methodist Episcopal church at Grandview. Joe R. Hammond of Wapello officiated. Burial was made in the Grandview cemetery.
