The funeral of Mrs. T. M. Brown was held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Oak Grove church, north of town. Both Mrs. Brown and her husband had been ill with the "flu" the past two weeks. Late Saturday evening the wife died. She was 86 years old last October. They had lived near Letts for many years since their marriage in the sixties. For the past 15 or 16 yeas they have resided in town. Mrs. Brown is survived by her aged husband, now critically ill, four sons and two daughters. They are: Edward, Horace, Hugh and Luscius of Letts. Mrs. Cella Blake of near Letts, and Mrs. Ivah Hadley of Nichols. Fourteen grandchildren also survive. Rev. Schafer of Cranston, preached the funeral sermon. Interment was made at Oak Grove.
