Morning Sun, Ia., April 11 - Word has been received here of the death of Sprague Courts, Friday, April 7, at Banning, Calf. He, with his wife and mother were making their home at that place, they had recently gone to Banning from Long Beach, where they spent the winter. Sprague was the youngest son of the late Fred Courts of Morning Sun and was born here April 8, 1897, his death occurring on the eve of his twenty-fifth birthday.

He lived here all his life until last September when he moved to California. He was graduated from the local high school and attended Northwestern University law school in Chicago. During the world war he served in the navy with the rank of quartermaster first class. He was a member of the Christian Science church. His wife was Miss Mildred Latta of this city. Mr. Courts is survived by his widow, his mother, one sister, Mrs. Norma Simpson, of Chicago and two brothers, F. M. Courrs of Morning Sun with whom he was associated in the practice of law and. D. H. Courts of Cleveland, O. The body is on its way here from California. The funeral arrangements are not complete but burial will be in Elmwood cemetery here Thursday.
