Wapello, Ia., Jan. 17 - George Fitzgerald, a lifelong resident of Louisa county, died this morning at his home here after an illness of several years. Mr. Fitzgerald was born in this county June 28, 1865 and lived in or near Wapello the rest of his years. He was married to Anna Hanks who died six years ago. He is survived by four daughters, Nina, Leila and Ida, all of Wapello and Beulah of Stanton, Ill.; one brother, Fosdick, of Wapello and three sisters, Mrs. Laua Chaney, Mrs. R. Syphrit and Mrs. O. C. Dotson, of Wapello. The funeral will be held from the Methodist church Wednesday at 2 o'clock. Rev. O. E. McBride will be in charge of the service.
