Hugh Walker, who was born at Grandview, October 28, 1853 and resided in that community until twenty years ago, died, Thursday night, December 15, 1921, at Quincy, Illinois, following an illness of fifteen months. The body was brought here for interment and funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Fredonia church at one thirty o'clock conducted by Rev. C. L. Wilson. Interment was made in the Indian Creek cemetery.
