Lucile Abbott, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Abbott, of Cone, died last Friday evening the result of burns received when her clothing caught fire from a bonfire of leaves. The little girl had been gone from the house just a few minutes when she was found with her clothing in flames and died a short time afterward. It is thought that in play she attempted to jump across a small pile of burning leaves near her home.

Alta Lucille Abbott, daughter of Isaac and Flora Abbott, was born at Conesville, December 4, 1916; departed this life October 22, 1921, aged 4 years, 10 months and 18 days. She leaves to mourn her demise her parents, one brother Rex age 3 years, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. I. S. Abbott, Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Marks, and other relatives and friends.
