Wapello, Ia, Sept. 9 - Mrs. Tabitha Winder, one of the pioneer residents of this community, passed away at her home near Wapello, Thursday morning at 4:45, after an illness of several months. Tabitha Dollerhide was born at Wapello April 5, 1851 and lived here practically all her life. Her husband preceded her in death by several years and she is survived by four children, Perce, at home; Mrs. Ruth Toborg, of Muscatine; Mrs. Carla Courtney and Homer Winder of Wapello, and Mrs. Hazel Winder of Harmony, Okla. The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at the Harrison church. The services were conducted by Rev. W. R. Coventry. Burial in the Harrison cemetery.
