Mrs. C. A. Brown passed away at her home in Wapello Friday evening, July 27, after a two weeks illness. Mrs. Brown was suddenly stricken July 15 when reroute home with her family from a Sunday school convention at Fairview. Upon examination it was found that she was suffering from a blood clot at the base of the brain. Funeral services were held from the First M. E. church in Wapello Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, conducted by pastor Rev. C. E. Coggeshell. Interment in the Wapello cemetery.
