Mrs. Geo. Boke died at her home in the north part of town, Wednesday, November 22, 1916, after an illness of little more than a week with pneumonia. Elizabeth Ann Ellis was born in Tennessee, Indiana, September 1, 1945 and came to Columbus Junction with her parents, in childhood. In 1863 she was united in marriage to George Boke and for many years they have made Columbus Junction their home. She is survived by five sons, Sam, of Muscatine, and Dick, Charley, Robert and David, of this city and two daughters, Mrs. Harry Hopkins of this city and Mrs. Nellie Shearree, of Seattle, Washington, who for several months has been very seriously ill. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at the home conducted by Rev. E. C. Brooks. Interment in the Tennessee cemetery.
