Harrison Bobo, a former resident of this county, died at his home in Davenport, Saturday morning, April 1, 1916. He was born in Vinton county, Ohio, December 30, 1851. At the age of four years he came with his parents to Iowa residing for a number of years in Columbus Junction. On the 1st of November 1880, he was united in marriage to Miss Susie Prialx. to them two children were born, one son, Ralph and one daughter, who died about twenty years ago. His wife and son survive to mourn his death. He is also survived by three sisters; Mrs. James B. O'Connor, of this city, Mrs. Sarah Elliot,of Kellerton and Mrs. Anna Edmondson, of Muscatine.

His body was brought to Columbus Junction Monday morning and taken to the home of his brother-in-law, R. F. Duncan, on South Hill. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at two o'clock at the Methodist Episcopal church conducted by Rev. E. C. Brooks. Mr. Bobo was a member of the I. O. O. F. and members of the local lodge attended the service and accompanied the body to the Tennessee cemetery where he was buried with the ceremonies of the Order.
