Glenn Allbaugh, a former Columbus Junction boy, died at Gardner, Kansas, Thursday, December 23rd, as the result of an accident when the front axle of his motor cycle broke as he was returning from a sit with his mother at Baldwin, Kansas. He was born in Columbus Junction, Iowa, January 20, 1891 and at the time of his death was aged 24 years, 11 months and 3 days. He left Columbus Junction several years ago living part of the time in Chicago and later moving to Kansas City where he held a position as solicitor of the Kansas City Star. December 31, 1914, he was married to Miss Ollie Fugua, who with one sister,Mrs. J. L. Peters and his mother, Mrs. Allie Morrison, both of Baldwin, Kansas and his grandfather, C. M. Fulton, of Springfield, Missouri survive to mourn his death. The body was brought to this city Sunday morning accompanied by his wife and mother and taken to the undertaking parlors of R. H. Malin, where a short funeral service was held Monday morning by Rev. T. M. Balcoff. Interment in the Union cemetery near Gladwin.
