Mrs. Sherman Strong, a well known resident of the north part of Louisa county, was found dead in the bed at daybreak Saturday morning by her husband. Mrs. Strong had been enjoying usual health but had complained some Friday evening of a pain in the region of her heart but thought little or nothing of it. About midnight she awoke and talked with her husband and nothing denoted at that time that she was feeling ill in any way. Early the next morning when Mr. Strong awoke he found Mrs. Strong in bed dead. Coroner J. H. Collins, of Letts, was notified and an inquest was held Saturday afternoon. Their verdict was that heart failure caused her death. Mrs. Strong was 38 years, 7 months and 25 days of age. her maiden name was Ida May Warnock. She is survived by her husband and five children and by three step children, Mr. Strong having been married twice previously. Funeral services were held at Swank church Monday afternoon conducted by Rev. T. B. DeVore. Interment was made in the Swank cemetery.
