Leo Estle, son of Charles and Elizabeth Estle, was born November 14, 1889 and died May 23, 1915. The funeral was held at the home, on Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock. Interment in the Cranston cemetery. He leaves besides his parents three brothers and one sister and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his loss. He attended rural school and then went to school at Columbus Junction after which he attended the University of Iowa, at Iowa City, for about two years. Mr. Estle with his younger brother, Lawrence had charge of his father's farm, west of Letts. The pall bearers were: two brothers, of the deceased, Lawrence and Mart Estle and four cousins, Kenneth McColm, Reuel McColm, Hail Estle and James O'Toole.
