Mrs. S. B. Thompson died at the Mercy hospital at Iowa City, Monday May 3, 1915, aged 43 years, 10 months and 28 days. Eva Minnie Lambert was born in Fayette county Pennsylvania, June 5, 1871. On October 2, 1909, she was married to Mr. S. B. Thompson, of Columbus Junction, Iowa, who survives her. Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn her death her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. S. Lambert, three sisters, Mrs. Luelle Campbell and Mrs. Anna Show, of Chariton, Iowa, Mrs. Jennie Waterman, of Columbus Junction; and one brother M. F. Lambert of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She also leaves two nephews and three nieces whose home is in Chariton. Two sisters and one brother preceded her in death. The funeral services which were private were held at the home of her parents in Columbus Junction of Wednesday May 5th and were conducted by the Rev. E. C. Brooks, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church. Interment was in the Columbus City cemetery.
