Henry Raymond, of La Grata, Colorado, died Tuesday, February 2, 1915, at that place. Azor Raymond, a brother living northwest of this city, went to Colorado and returned Sunday evening with the remains. Henry Raymond was born March 2, 1849, in Orange county, New Jersey, and was a son of George and Lida Raymond, who moved to Union township in this county, in 1855. Here he farmed until about 25 years ago when he went to California and became a mine prospector, owning an interest in a mine there, He visited here the past summer and returned to La Crata, Colorado in August. He is survived by six brothers and four sisters: George, of Fresno, California, Abner, of Canada, T. A., of Kansas, C. C. and Azor Raymond, northwest of this city, Mrs. Nancy Green, of Washington, Mrs. Sarah Swails, of Ainsworth, Mrs. Anna Marling, of northwest of this city. Mrs. S. R. Drake, of this city. The funeral was held Monday at the Salem church and was conducted by Red Funk, of the Church of God. Interment was made at the Salem cemetery.
