On last Thursday morning, October 28th occurred the death of Mrs. John Buser at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Chamberlain, in Cedar Rapids. She had been in failing health for some years but not until the last two weeks did her condition become serious. For the last two months she had been staying at her daughter's and receiving medical attention from a Cedar Rapids doctor. Carrie Ingraham was the eldest daughter of David and Louis Ingraham and was born at Oakland on August 31st, 1884, she was united in marriage to John Buser by Rev. John Buser, father of the groom. To this union were born five children, one daughter, Mary and the youngest of the family died when a few months old. The surviving children are Margaret L., wife of Charles Chamberlain; George, John Merlin and Paul I. all of Cedar Rapids.

Mrs. Buser also leaves to mourn her loss, her aged mother and three brothers and two sisters, who are, Walter, of Minnesota; Willard and Arthur, of Conesville; Mrs. Mary Paris of Los Angeles; and Minnie of Conesville and the following grandchildren to which she was an exceptionally kind grandmother, Vivian, Charles and Pauline Buser and David Chamberlain. The remains were brought to Conesville Friday evening accompanied by the sorrowing relatives and were taken to the family residence. The funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon at two o'clock at the Grace Reformed church and conducted by the pastor, Rev. C. E. Ewing, with interment in the Conesville cemetery in the family to where their babe is buried.
