John Fredrick Solomon, son of Mr. and Mrs Edward Solomon was born December 25, 1911 and died April 11, 1914, at the home of his parents at Ottumwa, Iowa, aged 2 years, 3 months and 16 days. His death was caused from burns accidentally received in his home Friday of last week. He leaves to mourn his loss his parents and three brothers, Emery, Paul and Robert and one sister Edna. The funeral service was held at the Swank church, Monday, April 13, at 10:30 a. m. and the burial was in the cemetery at that place. C. E. Ewing, pastor of the Reformed church at Cone, preached the sermon.
