Died at her home in Columbus Junction, Iowa, on Friday, April 3, 1914, at 5 o'clock p. m., Mrs. Anna Eliza Ogier, age 48 years, 5 months and 15 days. Anna Eliza Brewer, was born in Louisa county, Iowa October 18, 1865. On the 11th of September, 1889, she was married to Elmer P. Ogier. To them were born eight children, two of whom have preceded her in death. The remaining children, three girls and three boys are: Flossie E., Harvey R., Lee R., Margaret, Agnes and Glenn. Mr. and Mrs. Ogier lived on a farm until a little over a year ago when, owing to ill health they moved into town. Here on the 13th of last September Mr. Ogier died.

When a young lady about 16 years of age, she was converted and united with the Evangelical church. For several years Mrs. Ogier has been suffering from cancer. She was mercifully spared much pain. Besides her children she leaves four sisters and two brothers. They are: Mrs. John Hall, Mrs. Joe Kramer, Mrs. Alice Bozman, Mrs. Mary Chamberlain. These all reside in Louisa county. Her two brothers, James H. and D. K. Brewer are in the west. The funeral services were held from the Methodist Episcopal church conducted by Rev. E. C. Brooks, on Sunday, April 5th, at 1:30 p. m. Interment in the Columbus City cemetery.
