Charles Cutkomp, a pioneer citizen of Louisa county, passed away at his home at Columbus City Tuesday afternoon, February 17, 1914. He was born in Germany May 11, 1835 and came to his county in boyhood. Two son, Benjamin of Columbus City and Clarence of Cody, Neb., by a former marriage and Fred of Wapello and William of Columbus City and their mother, who makes her home with her son, Fred, at Wapello survive him in addition to a large number or relatives. Funeral will be held at the U. B. church at Columbus City Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. L. H. Smith. Interment will be made in the Bretz cemetery.
