W. H. Wright, who recently came to this city from Moulton and purchased the Commercial hotel, was stricken Thursday evening and only lived until the following night passing away about eleven o'clock. Mr. Wright was pleasing gentleman and his sudden death came as a shock. Mr. Wright was 61 years of age. He is survived by his wife and a number of children. funeral services were held at the hotel Sunday afternoon conducted by Rev. E. C. brooks and the remains were taken to Avoca for interment where funeral services were held Tuesday.
