Mrs. Rosanna Snyder, widow of the late John Snyder, passed away Tuesday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Josie Bowlsby, of Conesville. Mrs. Snyder suffered a paralytic stroke a year ago and has been bedfast since that time. Mrs. Snyder was born February 3, 1837 and has been a resident of Orono township since 1868. She is survived by four brothers, two sisters and by eight children, seven daughters and one son. two of the brothers, Marion and Anderson Chapman, are residents of Cone. The other two brothers and two sisters reside in Ohio. The surviving children are: Emma, wife of Dan McCleary of Rock Island, Belle, wife of Ed Ferry of Howard, Kansas; Minnie, wife of Thomas Maxwell of Cone; Jennie, wife of Chester Cecil of Hedrick; May, wife of Robert Maxwell of Cone; Mrs. John Bowlsby of Cone, with whom Mrs. Snyder made her home at the time of her death and Elbert Snyder of Cone. The funeral services were held this afternoon from the Grace Reformed church.
