Launy VanHorn, a well known citizen of Letts, died suddenly at his home in that city, Monday evening, May 5th. Mr. Van Horn was in Columbus Junction a short time ago and seemed to be enjoying usual good health. He was 64 years old and is survived by his wife and one son, Frank, of Kensington, Ohio and one daughter, Mrs. B. F. Snyder. Mr. VanHorn was postmaster at Letts prior to the present incumbent. He was a member of the Methodist church. Funeral services were held at Letts this (Thursday) morning, and were attended by a large number of local members of the Masonic and Knight Templar Orders of which the deceased was a member.
