Mrs. Sarah Sweeney, mother of Miss Izola Sweeney, superintendent of schools, passed away at Wapello last Saturday night at the age of 82 years. She was one of the pioneer residents of Louisa county, having been born in Grandview, and was greatly esteemed by all who know her. She is survived by her husband, two sons, J. P. of Chicago and Daniel, of Cedar Rapids and two daughters, Mrs. J. S. Cline of Crabb Orchard, Tenn., and Miss Izola, at home. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Wapello.
