On Sunday morning, May 19, 1907, occurred the death of Mrs. Catherine Wycoff Elrick, at her home in this city. Mrs. Elrick was 85 years, and 22 days old at the time of her death. She united in marriage with Mr. Jacob W. Elrick in 1843, who survives her, together with eight children, all grown to man and womanhood. She was the mother of twelve children, four of whom preceded her in death. Funeral services occurred from the Presbyterian church on Tuesday afternoon, conducted by her pastor, Rev. Theo. Koopman and interment was in the Wapello cemetery.
