Sherman Duncan passed away at the home of his sister, Mrs. R. A, Hutton, last Friday, October 13, after an illness of several months. He was born in the home farm, west of Columbus City and spent most of his life there, being in the frothy-third year of his age. He received the devoted are of his sister, Mrs. Hutton and family during his illness. He was son of the late F. A. Duncan and leaves one sister, two brothers and three half brothers, besides many other relatives. The funeral was held at the Hutton home Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. J. C,. Marshall of the U.P. church, Columbus City and the interment was at the cemetery there, beside those who had gone before.
