Grandview, Sept. 26- The neighbors and relatives of John Guthrie were greatly shocked Friday morning to learn of his death. He lived alone in a house at Wapello and was found dead in his bed Friday Morning. He had been in Grandview Tuesday and went home Tuesday night. His body was in such condition it was thought he had been dead forty-eight hours of more. His funeral was held Friday afternoon in Wapello and the remains were interred in the Wapello cemetery.
